Why are California liberals pushing so hard to get rid of health insurance?

Worse still, the most expensive cases are probably organ transplants. The hard turn left in this country since my childhood is nowhere more evident than in medicine. Prior to Medicare, no American expected Stanford Medical Center level care even for ordinary heart disease. We were told to save our money specifically for medical care, if we wanted it.

It is hard to fathom how one people so quickly became entitled to gold standard care simply because .....

The advent of "civil unions" and the corporate embrace of providing medical coverage to "partners" was the start of the skyrocketing medical premiums. The "normal" population of customers was saddled with financing the exorbitant costs of treating people with a terminal, incurable disease. Big mistake.

That generic "preexisting conditions" obfucation term is actually AIDS and other STDs. "Guaranteed issue" allowed them to frolic around uninsured until they got "the bug" and only then did they buy insurance, forcing healthy (straight) people to subsidize their expensive queer death-style.
