The Breed of Peace!

I think the REAl problem with pitbulls is not that they attack. Rather, it is that they are more like Lions than Chihuahua’s. If they DO attack, it’s not a pretty thing.

Imagine a Pit Bull with the temperament of a Chihuahua. :)

I believe owners should be held responsible as though it was their pet Bengal tiger that attacked. When you make the decision to own a potentially dangerous animal, you need to be responsible for what it does.

Same for Chihuahua’s, but no matter how mean that little sucker is, the risk of serious consequences is still pretty low. :-)

Supposedly only 5% of dog owners bother to train their dogs. Even just the bare minimum of stay, no, come, sit. I can’t ever remember being around a small dog that was trained well. Maybe that’s partly a brain size thing but I suspect the consequences are less dire so they bother even less with small dogs than bigger dogs.

Dogs like structure, they like knowing what is expected of them. Being around untrained dogs suck for dogs and people. Being around well trained dogs are a pleasure for the dogs and you.

Good luck being reasonable with this bunch

These threads are click bait to bloviate by the Haze of Sunlight in the Golden Retrivers mane crowd

As they all hop in the Subaru Outback

Yes Chihuahuas at 150 pounds would be honey badgers as pets

But imagine if housecats were 150 pounds

Man

They’re be no dogs

I have a scar from a chihuahua. The owners made the mistake of bringing him to our farm later, and letting him out in front of our territorial black labrador. The chihuahua needed a lot of stitches.
