Scott is a man of many secrets, his ex-wife is quoted as saying.
...not anymore...
There’s a new book coming out about Pan Am’s contracts with the Iranian gov’t in the late 70’s. Lots of dealings that the public didn’t know about.
Goes on today too.
Some things should remain “secret.”
For most people, treason is a part time gig, but our press makes a career out of it.
THANKS FOR SHARING NEW YORK TIMES...

Ratlines
The New York Times just doing their best to undermine the United States Military.
“Mr. Dardens work offers a rare look into the shadowy world of military contractors that operate in lawless war zones like Yemen, Somalia and Libya. But arrangements like the one Transoceanic had with Special Operations forces can cast suspicion over aid workers, potentially putting them in harms way, and can jeopardize humanitarian efforts in countries that depend on relief organizations.”
No, A-holes like NYT reporters ADAM GOLDMAN and ERIC SCHMITT writing about such operations is what jeopardizes both the humanitarian efforts AND the efforts by our military to capture or kill those responsible for creating the environment in which humanitarian aid is needed in the first place.
Hey ADAM GOLDMAN and ERIC SCHMITT, why don’t you FOAD.
Consistency.
If MSM outs the CIA head of Iran operations, it stands to reason they would need to out any other American that was/is assisting the US government in conducting covert operations.
The fact that this particular individual was kidnapped and might still be alive or that revealing his role will without a doubt endanger other aid workers who are not secret ops enablers is irrelevant. The NYT’s and these journalist’s need to pursue their mission of disclosing the information and therefore complicating the operations of the evil “machine” is far more important to them.
One of my history professors remarked that, by the end of the Roman Empire, many contemporary commentators were thoroughly sick of it and wanted something different. He then noted that, after the Empire’s collapse, commentators in following centuries lamented the loss of its culture and order.
Today’s left/liberal MSM is the modern equivalent of those ancient critics: longing for something new because they are tired of the old regime impeding the arrival of their utopian paradise. But the new twist is that they are actively working to undermine and destroy the hated regime’s efforts to hold back the outside forces working for its downfall.
Unfortunately, for them, the new regime they long for is probably going to be very intolerant of press criticism. When that happens, the press, that is, those that manage to survive, will complain - but very, very quietly - about the loss of the civilization they so actively worked to undermine.
The MSM behaves this way because the Fourth Estate is immune from effective punishment for their irresponsible actions.
The NEW YORK TIMES should be shut down and editors prosecuted for aiding and abetting the enemy via the leaking of military secrets.
Lots of criticism of the Times in their comments section for the unnecessary outing of Mr. Darden including his new location and workplace which may endanger him, his son (11)and anyone who works for the company that was identified as his current employer in the Middle East.
Any blood shed because of this unnecessary “unmasking” will be on the Times account.
