Contrast the current adjudicative guidelines from ICPG 704.2 with the former ones from DoD 5200.02-R:
Note that the current guidelines exclude those with "sympathy for" while the former ones required "involvement in". She could post all she wanted on social media with the prior guidelines...as long as she didn't actually crack heads, she was eligible. Under the current guidelines, if she even sympathizes with these groups, she would no longer be eligible for access.
Hopefully as clearances are re-adjudicated as a result of the periodic re-investigation requirement, they'll be able to weed out a whole lot of hard core leftists within the government (and specifically within the IC).
What’s more, since what she leaked was Secret, we will never know what it was. Wanna bet it was, let’s say, the appetizer portion of a menu in a cafeteria in a cleared area or some such trivial thing? Patsy.
By even a loose interpretation, that describes the Democrat Party today.
Former CIA Director John Brennan voted for the Communist Party candidate in the 1976.

Any rules requiring patriotism or even affinity for the USA on the part of Federal employees are obviously obsolete.
Part of the problem is that many hard core leftists are now the ones conducting the security investigations with an accusatorial eye upon those who seek to defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign or domestic.
They’ll ignore evidence of loyalty and faithfulness, while they cast aspersions against the most patriotic citizens. In contrary, they will gloatingly approve the most arrogant picayunish frauds, if they follow their political bent.
I might even be too gracious in my assessment. They simply might be demonically possessed seeking to devour any who are faithful.
