At the age of 21 I was a Communications operator on a TACAMO aircraft with the highest clearances the government had to offer.

I was responsible for send “the end of the world” message to ballistic missile submarines. And I handled all the crypto etc.

21 is PLENTY old enough to go to prison. Just ask Merle Haggard.

So, any 25 year old can get a job at the NSA? Hopefully there are some standards in determining who can work at the NSA.

Go to Ft Meade and see all the military personnel walking around NSA HQ and they’re young (under 25) and involved with intelligence. They have the highest clearance. It’s not unusual.

Same here, 144th Signal Battalion, 4th Armored Div. Germany, 1966-67. Got the TS Clearance at the age of 21. We were scared to death of the NSA.
