Investigation into foreign funding and support of jihadi groups operating in UK understood to focus on Saudi Arabia ___ An investigation into the foreign funding and support of jihadi groups that was authorised by David Cameron may never be published, the Home Office has admitted.
The inquiry into revenue streams for extremist groups operating in the UK was commissioned by the former prime minister and is thought to focus on Saudi Arabia, which has repeatedly been highlighted by European leaders as a funding source for Islamist jihadis.
The investigation was launched as part of a deal with the Liberal Democrats in exchange for the party supporting the extension of British airstrikes against Islamic State into Syria in December 2015.
Tom Brake, the Lib Dem foreign affairs spokesman, has written to the prime minister asking her to confirm that the investigation will not be shelved.

???All those things were public within hours. No evidence whatever that May was concealing them. The only thing briefly witheld - by the police, not May, till some fool leaked it - was the name: for the very good reason that they were still tracking down local members of his family whom they didn't want to tip off by revealing they had already discovered his identity.
You are a moron if you believe that. They didn’t release that info, the press got it through leaks and May raised holy hell.
And his family WAS the cell. His brothers said they knew about the plan. Explain to me how releasing his name would tip off other members of the plot... sport.

It was not an effort at tactical surprise. It was an effort at political damage control and protecting the good name of islam.
What she wanted to hide is that her government questioned him 5 times, funded his life, and that it wasn’t a surprise.
