I think Kathy Griffin is the canary in the mine shaft. She is, as you have said, an emblem, emotionally and literally, of the Left who have become more and more demented and ignorant as they have been egged on by Hil-liar-y and Obama.
Our DOJ should have put a stop to it immediately. Why was the DOJ silent? Kathy Griffin should have been arrested for defamation of character. To liken her to ISIS is not unreasonable as she has copy catted ISIS’ death methods. A copycat terrorist...and what she did was threaten Trump’s life. The jokes about Barron’s response were so repugnant, I wonder if all who said that stuff shouldn’t ‘compulsed’ to be infertile-ized?
We have laws in the US. Antisedition laws should have been invoked early on and in almost every case...yes, we have “freedom” of speech but not to invoke sedition, not to be treasonous, etc.
frankly, I am disgusted with our lack of legal action. If those people don’t like the Constitution and Bill of Rights, they should leave and we should provide the transportation to wherever they want to go BUT NOT the return trip.
I understand the Pledge of Allegiance is not longer recited in schools. I used to think about the”words” of civics and concepts when I was in school. It was meaningful. I thought about our lessons in history class, also no longer available to students and history was one of my favorite courses...history of anywhere. If we develop scholarly savages, ignorant as bricks, we ourselves are to be blamed.
