Even if the house is paid off — and I bet it is not close to being paid off — there are property taxes, upkeep, security, etc. I'll give Griffin this: she works hard for her money, and has for years. She's got a core staff, beyond the ones who care for her house, and she supports her mother, to whom she is devoted. She's got a couple of cars, a couple of dogs. Losing her casino and hotel gigs is going to cut her income by 80%. COunt on it.

Somebody posted a Variety article today which said she paid cash for the house and is still worth $20 mil. But she does have a legal team and private jet to pay for.
Guess what you get when you live on 4% of $20 mil a month: $66,666.66
