Not to be too flippant, but, do teenage kids do tasks such as cutting grass anymore?? Kudos to those who are. What about paper boys? Are they still around? At least in some big cities I am familiar with, the newspapers delivery people are adult men who cover huge territories using trucks and vans to do the deliveries. As opposed to a kid on a bicycle covering just his neighborhood.

When I was teen, I had a lawn mowing business AND a paper route. During casual conversation I would let my paper customers know I also cut lawns....since I already demonstrated responsibility delivering papers many folks would have me cut their grass.
I averaged about $18 a week delivering papers.......I averaged that each yard I mowed.

do teenage kids do tasks such as cutting grass anymoreMy son does some lawns, mostly for the nearest neighbors and a few elderly church members. DBA "Epic Fail Lawn Service." He's also Epic Fail Painting Service and Epic Fail Plumbing Service.
A mom and three sons up the street have a real lawn-care business, with a trailer and everything, but they charge more.
One of my girls does a lot of dog care.
