Victor Hugo Alvarez-Real, 35, was charged in Arkansas on May 15 for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl multiple times in 2016, 5NEWS reported.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Alvarez-Real on May 25 and have so far been unable to locate him.
A relative of the victim, Barbara Gutierrez, said this entire ordeal had been the most difficult thing she has ever experienced because of the pain and suffering of the little girl.
“Because I have to absorb…I have to absorb what she’s going through and take it in myself,” Gutierrez said. “It’s been the most difficult challenge I’ve ever faced

I happened to be in a situation in which I was able to talk to a very wealthy man about some of his (much wealthier) acquaintances. He described one in particular, whom (he said) basically did whatever he wanted in life and didn't pay the slightest attention to legalities. I hasten to say, the activities in question had nothing whatever to do with pedophilia, but I think the attitude and mindset was clear.
When I asked this fellow the question "wasn't he worried about coming to the attention of the U.S. Attorney," he said "look, he has a staff of 50 lawyers working for him full time, with many more available on a contract basis. If he gets a subpoena, or even an indictment, he hands it to the boss of his legal department and says 'take care of this,' and that's that."
As rich as this second fellow is (I know a bit about him), there are people in America and elsewhere that are far richer. This is how they think, how they look at the world.

Seriously, death penalty for anyone who rapes/molests a kid. I’d like to see the same solution implemented for scum that distribute child pornography (some scumbag I knew was arrested for that ... they’re dead to me ... the scumbag was released from jail after turning in more of his scumbag comrades ... he still should have gotten a couple of years in jail ... he had GIGABYTES of that garbage ... GIGABYTES).
When problems like these are epidemics, that means that the penalties are not harsh.
