Given that most people in her day would have dismissed his mother as a tramp, the fact is he probably picked up a great many hygiene habits in Indonesia which wouldn’t pass must in the United States. An upbringing to include a slutty mother, absent father and third world personal grooming/care training might still manifest themselves. Who knows.
