If the ratio is similar to the other years, it’s likely that during the 8 years of Obama's presidency, more Persons of Color were murdered by other Persons of Color in Obama's home town of Chicago than were lynched by Whites in the entire country during the 86 years between 1882 and 1968.
(Yes, Chicago is a problem. It's a much bigger problem than the liberal press and Democrat politicians are willing to even think.)
Guns are no longer prohibited in Chicago, thanks to McDonald v. City of Chicago.
What is prohibited is targeting the known violent offenders and putting them away for decades.
The norm seems to be either probation or greatly reduced sentences, and no Federal charges.

I am really not trying to be cruel or heartless, BUT the 233 dead are the ‘easy’ part....You bury them and you are done with them.
HOWEVER, 900 or so SURVIVORS will be under OUR care for the foreseeable future....and further....
Next thing they will do is BAN personal carry of weapons.
Always better (for the criminal element) to make a street thugs life safer so he/she can go about their business unencumbered by some ‘fool’ with personal protection.
MAYBE we can issue whistles to all...... or start a midnight basketball league (that ain’t to ‘racist’ now is it?)
Of course all the MB did in the past was give ‘people’ and excuse to be on the streets after midnight, thereby given those that desire a free hand to carry out their due diligence.
