Captain America comic books took issue with the TEA Party.

Disney didn’t want to sell the movie franchise as Captain America in Europe and titled it The First Avenger for foreign markets.

More recently they did some retrocontinuity storyline that establishes that Captain America has always been an agent of Hydra (NAZI) dating all the way back to World War II.

Marvel/Disney also made the Ancient One in the Doctor Strange movie to be a Celtic woman instead of the Tibetan wise man as in the comics.

To appease the Chinese. Because a Tibetan character would have been "offensive" to them and might have kept the movie from being released in China.

While I agree with your overall sentiment, can you PLEASE not blame Disney for the title choice for Captain America: The First Avenger when releasing it to foreign markets? That movie was made before Disney purchased Marvel, so Disney had absolutely no involvement in the making of that film, let alone the naming of the film’s title. That blame falls squarely on Marvel.

You can blame Disney for any left wing politics it’s been promoting since the early 1990s up to the present day, but don’t blame them for The First Avenger’s foreign title, because they had no involvement. And this is speaking as someone who outright hates what Eisner, Iger, Lasseter, and Katzenberg did to Disney starting in 1991.
