Seriously. Much as I love it (mine was terrific for higher learning), it truly is depressing how many remedial-type classes are offered and taken. I tutor there now and most of my students are for “intermediate” algebra; college’ll offer some 30 classes per semester in that 1 non-credit subject alone.
