It’s like I’m talking to a person that didn’t even try to read history.

AFRICA WAS NOT CARVED UP IN 1914. it took place at the end of the PREVIOUS century.

” was also to help modernize the continent so the people wouldn’t flood Europe like they’re doing now”

Dude where the hell are you citing this? Outside of Britain and maybe France, not one European power was remotely interested in doing anything other than what I cited above. Extract resources, sell stuff to the natives though exclusive treaties, and obtain strategic advantage, or in Italy’s case, just to look like you could hold colonies.

“But the European powers had the foresight to know that it was going to happen eventually. That’s the primary reason why they colonized Africa.”

You honestly have no idea what you are talking about on this. There isn’t one source of quote that affirms your thesis even slightly.

Maybe they would do it today for those reason, and should. But back then? Absolutely not.

Are you talking about yourself? Because I'm well-versed in history.

AFRICA WAS NOT CARVED UP IN 1914. it took place at the end of the PREVIOUS century.

Notice the map says 1914. It doesn't say "Late 1800s."

Dude where the hell are you citing this?

This is common historical knowledge. Europe at the time feared getting overrun by Africa's population. That is primarily the reason why they intervened and colonized the continent. Their objective was to modernize the continent and bring some semblance of civilization to the people, so "there" doesn't come "here" and then "here" becomes "there."

Outside of Britain and maybe France, not one European power was remotely interested in doing anything other than what I cited above.

You mean they were just interested in getting the natural resources and plundering the continent? All that would have accomplished was resentment by the people and the rise of tin-pot dictators and warlords (Yes, they came later, but were created by globalists who didn't want Africa to stand on it's own).

You honestly have no idea what you are talking about on this. There isn’t one source of quote that affirms your thesis even slightly.

If Europe hadn't done what it did in 1914 and before that, Africa would have truly been teeming with desperate refugees trying to get into Europe.
