As good little righties, we tell these people that leaving them alone is all that God wants us to do. Then we stand and judge when circumstance steers them into suboptimal arrangement.
Glad you brought that up. I have full sympathy for the poor black mom in the ghetto who has absolutely no choice but to work to keep her family together. But that is not what we are talking about here: it is the white mom who wants to “have a career” or wants to “maintain our standard of living” who deposits her kids in a daycare so she can work. I know plenty of those, and they are the children who know they are taking a back seat to their parents love of money.
