WSVN anchor Robbin Simmons tweeted out a video of what appears to be red strobe lights flashing in the White House Sunday evening.
While there has been no official statement from the White House explaining the red strobe lights, they could be lens reflectors that can uncover hidden cameras.
These camera detectors use infra red strobe reflections to find all types of covert cameras no matter if they are on or off. Powerful infrared principle reflects off the cameras optic lens up to 60 feet away.
Is the White house bugged? Would Obama and his shadow government really bug the incoming administration? Is the deep state using telecoms in the White House to spy and leak to the press?
These red strobe lights raise significant questions about the security of the White House.
Many piquant observations here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3556123/posts
ALL light is invisible...unless it illuminates matter.
Of course, there’s bugging going on in the White House. Running around shrieking, “Leakers! Leakers!”, implyes that staff involved in conversations are spilling their guts. That makes no sense. Conversations are being monitored off-site, compliments of the most sophisticated technology available.
“I would think that security sweeps to find hidden cameras and other bugs would be a routine event “
Of course there are security sweeps. But the “sweepers” may not be aware of technology that can’t be detected by conventional sweeping. We know that the Silicon Valley and other high tech players are anti-Trump. Who knows what they’ve invented to assist the Dark State in their coup?
Maybe it’s some new surveillance technology that can’t be detected by conventional techniques. I wouldn’t be surprised if they developed this with taxpayer money, and it was, of course, way too secret to let congress or anybody else know about it.
Barron must have been up late gaming
Shhhh. Don’t confuse them with facts
And it wouldn’t have shown up on a picture by a reporter
Detection is not vision
But the article is exactly about what the human eye saw
Where are you?
I understood what you meant
Here’s what I’d like to see happen:
Find a bug.
Do NOT remove it.
Have President Trump discuss something outrageous in its presence, something fake, made up by him and who ever he’s talking to, like Bannon.
When the first media outlet airs/prints it, send in agents, go through the reporters files, phones, whatever, and bust the leaker HARD, offering immunity for information on all the players involved in this.
Indict and convict all players of high treason, or whatever works.
Great analysis, the kind of work we come to Free Republic for.
But even if we assume there are flashes of light inside rooms of the White House, are there easy explanations? For example, if there are red fire or other emergency alert flashers (and I’ve certainly worked in federal facilities that had them), what better time to test them than a weekend when the facility is minimally staffed, with no outside visitors?
This “story” is a big nothingburger for the reason you point out. But it would still be a nothingburger, regardless.
Maybe someone painted that office with a laser designator, and a warning system was activated. Did any countermeasures respond?
If there was a light in the dining room that was that bright (and flashing) it would also be seen in the other dining room window.
And yes, you can clearly see the dining room red flash extending over a small portion of the adjacent wall to the right of the window.
You are correct, it is a small reflection on the monitor screen, not a light inside the White House.
Looking closely at the top of the four vertical green bars you can see a small segment of the color yellow and above that is two additional segments that are red.
Counting the segments from bottom to top there are seven green segments, one yellow segment and two red segments for a total of ten.
This is most clear in the far right vertical green bar.
To me it has the appearance of a portion of a sound equalizer being reflected from the surface of the monitor coming from behind the recording camera.

Sorry - when using my phone, I’m barely literate. I’m so exhausted by the circus like atmosphere of our current political climate that the article made me think of Cage’s “On any other day, this might seem strange.” A car flying behind the aircraft - yes it has the power to surprise but given everything else that was going on, it seemed “normal.” That’s what I think when I read the latest outrage re our government. AGain, my apologies.
It could be electronically monitored by the NSA, FBI and/or the CIA.
We should wave to them after every post.
The NSA collects everything, and then they query the database. That’s what my reading says.
