Tell that to the families with kids who can't afford a house due to the high property taxes, while seniors get tax breaks so high they no longer have any skin in the game. I've got geezers, too, ya know. And I love them dearly. But buying their votes with OPM is rotten public policy.
No compassion.
Those young families with kids, eagerly vote for ever higher taxes. They hope one day the Big State will give them something free of value.
They choose their suffering.
