Look at the timeline again, only add May 2016 when the CTO Russian at Crowdstrike (Dmitri Alperovitch) detects Cozy and Happy Bears in the DNC systems and then immediately expels them.

Crowdstrike is already a known liar as tracked by Stranahan who asks about their report at a WH press briefing in relation to Comey using Crowdstrike as a 'highly respected firm' as a surrogate for not having the FBI take possession to examine DNC servers.
Crowdstrike's lie was from 6 months earlier (Dec 2015) in their report of Ukraine losing artillery due to a Russian Hack. In that report, they mention Cozy and Happy Bears as evidence of Russian involvement. Crowdstrike later (Mar 2016) retracted their Ukraine artillery report as false. Then bizarrely, they mention Cozy and Happy Bears again when they get a call from DNC to investigate security problems in their network. They tell DNC staff that "Yep, we see again Cozy Bear and Happy Bear and we have a lot of experience with those hackers, no problem have this fixed right away, yep (2 hours later) we expelled them for good." And then they write their fake report that Comey later references.

So then the leaks start again in June, ... wait! Didn't Crowdstrike get rid of those pesky Russian hackers?
And suddenly Guccifer 2.0 loads a load of Donald J. Trump opposition research onto a website.
Now here's a kicker. Who is Wasserman-Shultz's Director of Technology at DNC? Awan.
Imran Awan, the head of the massive Pakistani spy ring for Congress, hired by Wasserman-Shultz was the Technology Director at the DNC.

Guccifer 2.0 had to be created on the fly to keep the story as a 'hack' when in fact it was a leak.
DNC had a lot of Bernie supporters working for it in Washington DC. When these Berniecrats found out they were ripped off by the Hillary camp, they started leaking.
But it can't be a 'leak', oh no not that. It has to be a 'hack'. It has to be a Russian hack because Alperovitch at Crowdstrike said so. And besides Trump called for the Russians to find the missing 30,000 emails of Madame Vagina, didn't he? So it was Trump and the Russians colluding together, that's it!
If it was a leak, well that would show disunity or something. It would bring undue focus on DNC personnel and besides those leakers needed to be found out, murdered, droned, or something.
So the new thing that the above pins down firmly is that Crowdstrike is a liar, Comey is a fool and liar, and Imran Awan likely is connected to Guccifer 2.0.
Your Reddit link proves the security breach was a leak, not a hack. Add to that Guccifer 2.0 is fake and maybe a creation or co-creation of Imran Awan who is a Pakistani Spy, criminal, murderer or who orders murders.
