I like al Sisi. I believe he wants to protect the Egyptian Christians and he has rebuilt the destroyed and damaged churches from the Muslim Brotherhood brief reign. He will be a good ME partner for President Trump.
Protecting minorities puts makes them your firm supporters. Sisi needs all the internal support he can get.To the jihadists he is a hopeless apostate for overturning their tiumphant sharia state. He cannot get support from that quarter no matter what he does. So he protects minorities and looks to the West, Israel and the USA.
