On Thursday night, CNNs Don Lemon wondered if losing elections rather than winning would actually be more beneficial to the Republican party.
The topic was Montanas special election for Congress, and CNN had spent the past 24 hours replaying audio of the GOP candidate allegedly body slamming a reporter.
As the votes were tallied and it became evident that Greg Gianforte, the GOP candidate, would prevail victorious, Lemon shifted gears.
No longer was this special election a referendum on President Trump.
No longer was this about how much voters did or didnt respect the media.
Now, instead, we must explore how winning may actually be a bad thing for the GOP. Lemon asked CNN analyst Gloria Borger, whats better then for the Republican party? Is it better for Gianforte winning, or him losing this election?
Borger ultimately concluded, I would always say that theyd rather win.

Donald Trump needs to use this to his advantage when negotiating with McConnell and Ryan.
Hey Don, is it better for Democrats to win elections, or to lose elections?
Is this the guy who thought a plane disappeared into a black hole?
If losing elections is good for your party, then the Democrats are experiencing their Golden Age.
...and he shall henceforth be referred to as Duh Lemon.
The last thing the GOP needs advice from are its enemies like Don Lemon.

The latest poll numbers are out. Rasmussen (the most accurate poll of the 2016 election) has Trump at 48 percent approval. It’s important to note that’s just about the exact same place he was at when he was elected president- just under half the country supports him. Since we come out to vote in much higher numbers...and we have an electoral edge in Midwest battleground states...48 percent is all Trump needs to win re-election again. Keep in mind that’s after the two worst weeks in the history of modern presidents. That’s after two weeks of the most biased, vicious, negative...history. That’s after firing the FBI Director.

These are always stupid question. Ranking up there with - what would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?
Is it better for CNN to report news, or to report fake news?
Yes he is. I was going to ask if this nerd is naturally stupid, or does he have to work at it.
Yes, yes, yes, it is horrible for the republicans. Let them keep winning.
Lemon’s still around?
I’ve seen a few videos of him. I can only describe him as an arrogant imbecile. He doesn’t seem to have a clue just how dumb he comes across.
Lemon, working a little TOO hard to live up to Trump’s description of him:
“This Don Lemon, who’s perhaps the dumbest person in broadcasting.”
For the GOPe I think they would rather lose. They keep their perks, do not have to do any work or take any responsibility and blame it all on the dims.
Losing elections is great. I am wishing that greatness on democrats nationwide in any upcoming special elections and again in November 2018.
