I heard this press conference and Ryan was emphatic that he thinks that if the people of MT elect Gianforte that’s what matters.
This is Ryan’s equivalent of “The police acted stupidly.”
I really try to cut the guy slack, but either he’s just not very smart or he’s a lap dog of the #uniparty.
How close does a reporter have to get with a recorder or camera before you can clock him? If the movement is quick you shouldn’t have to wait for contact.

In fact, I’ll take it a step further. I think he is, in a way, getting what Dan Rather got. i.e. in the world of the internet and bloggers, you can’t just trust the MSM to cover your butt.

If I’m on the jury, the now-winner walks. I wouldn’t care if they had video of him swinging from the floor on the reporter. He works for the Guardian, so by definition he needs punched.
