Just for the record, there is a difference between peacemaker and appeaser, although the previous administration did try to blur the distinction as many people with their ideology did in the past. The efforts of the latter always result in war.
Yes, I agree. Appeasement does not bring a lasting peace.
Neville Chamberlain’s (British Prime Minister) foreign policy toward Hitler’s Germany prior to WWII is one of the best examples of the failed policy of appeasement in recorded history.
Our nation is facing another war situation - maybe foreign or maybe civil. I don’t know but I doubt seriously if we, as a people, can find a peaceful solution and avoid war. Too many of us for various selfish reasons have accepted the appeasement and entitlements offered by a big federal government and the elites who want to rule us, not serve us. Fewer understand and continue to hold to the principles of liberty, equality, freedom of religion, and true justice under rule of law for ALL it’s citizens. Many within our nation have forgotten (or don’t care anymore that) the founding fathers gave their lives and fortunes to give us a Republic and a Constitution and a Bill of Rights to protect us from an overreaching government.
Too much diversity, political correctness, and corruption within our federal, state, and local governments is destroying our country. Draining the swamp at the federal government level is a good start to rebuilding our country. In the meantime, the founding fathers are spinning in their graves.
Lastly, Divine Providence may be the only way we escape this mess and the one world government we don’t want or need. Surely we have come too far for this to be our final destiny.
