This 1930 musical saw Ethel Mermans debut, made a star out of Ginger Rogers, and added a number of tunes to the Great American Songbook. It ran for a year, got critical raves and featured in its pit orchestra Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Glenn Miller and Jimmy Dorsey.
