He got married had kids, supports his family and has been a model citizen ever since. It would make no sense to send him back to prison.

Does that apply to all felons who don't fulfill their sentences or just illegal aliens?

I could be wrong, but is it even possible to be an illegal from Cuba? It’s my understanding that if they get here feet dry from Cuba than they are automatically granted asylum per Kennedy’s order from 1961 or ‘62. I’m not commenting on any other aspect of this case, simply the reference to him being illegal.
