sorry...but the media started roasting him with an absurd perjury charge, and, like a typical republican, terrified of the media, he curled up and caved and recused himself. While the Dems wanted his scalp, this was just as good. Now Trumps out there trying to defend himself, and is coming dangerously close bringing himself down. This all could have been avoided. Only thing keeping him afloat right now is that hes still got the base on his side. If we ever abandon him, watch how fast the Republicans team with the Donks to impeach him. This nation is at a precipice....i don’t exaggerate.

I do not disagree with you wrt the situation the country is in. Nor did I agree with Sessions recusing himself but the practical effect is to remove him as a target so the RATmedia has to find another line of attack.

So far it is not working and they are looking stupider and stupider. Sun Tzu would recommend a similar strategy of allowing your opponent to over extend before having a counter punch.

I also see no practical good from being critical of a man who has been a conservative leader for a long time. Sessions had the guts to stand up and endorse Trump when he was still considered an impossibility and a clown. He challenged the GOPe head on, this is not a coward nor an ineffectual man.

Another point in his favor is that he is an ex-federal judge but apparently he loves his country enough to give up a cushy life-time appointment to try and MAKE law as a Senator. I find that rather remarkable.
