The last show video is ... sad! He's a beat behind, and on Black Hole Sun end chorus - oy. His eyes are puffy; and on a different Fox Theater video he looks straight at the guy in the balcony filming him and he looks haunted.

One surmises the grimfaced band (which was tight) chewed his ass after the show, he made tracks back to the MGM Detroit penthouse, texted the wife and did the deed.
