Yes, finally. Thank you!

Now, as the dust settles, can we have a sober discussion on current server practices--redundancy, rollovers, and NOT local to drive to 3+ hours away, and going to Frys or somewhere for parts. Not to be critical but that is fine for your home computer but not a Web site, especially one with the high visibility of Free Republic. The funds that many of us contribute easily pay for this. Heck, my company pays less than $2,500 A YEAR and have redundancy, rollover, and never downtime more than moments.

It’s my understanding that if the hardware equipment were in Fresno that it would have to route through San Jose (apparently the closest location with a direct route to performance) and that would slow down the works.

But wadda I know? heh...
