Nope, you didn’t do the math correctly.
” It goes to appointed help in those districts. Added bloat to pay some local union goon.”
But isn’t that what “public education” is all about? It’s a government “jobs program”
designed to give maximum employment opportunities to “liberal trash” who have been “educated” to subvert our children and get undeserved pay for doing so. The other thing here that troubles me is spending even more money on a minority group that has shown us that they are unwilling to take advantage of and education. This is simply reverse discrimination. They are neither poor nor disadvantaged by reason of race. They are both by choice, and because Liberals have decided to “keep them down on the farm” to keep them “compliant” to their need to have their votes.
“Wow, thats a lot of money per student! Barron Trumps tuition is only about $38,000!”
So what? Our last daughter’s college education cost $50,000 per year. It was our decision to pay it, just like Trumps. Its his money, as it was ours. This was taxpayers money paid out preferentially to a small group of minority students.

Replace every one who voted before reading.
I used a calculator and you’re correct. $2K per.
Spine from GOP? Really? Maybe the North Carolinian branch should change the name of their party so they are not confused with the callow hopeless bunch in D.C.
I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood the meaning of my post.
I’m not complaining about the cost of Barron’s tuition. His father pays it and can afford it.
I’m aghast that tax payers are forced to pay $20,000 per “under performing” student, yet see no results from that much money!
Democrats might not be able to line their pockets with taxpayer supplied funds. You know, the funds that were supposed to go toward midnight golf.

I get it!, but the amount was misstated by some here who don’t know how to use division. The actual amount per student was only $2,000, not that even that amount should be spent in my opinion. Like you, I’m at the end of my patience and my wallet, spending any extra money on “underperforming students,” especially Blacks who as a group are the most ungrateful bunch who think they deserve “special attention” from the taxpayers. From what I see, it isn’t that they can’t learn, it’s that they don’t care to learn. But we still keep shelling out money which doesn’t help and isn’t deserved.
Agree.
