Because hate is a destructive emotion, that typically damages the wielder much worse than the target. And a lot of liberals were indoctrinated by their families, and are potentially savable. I see them as children who are lost and victims of improper upbringing in most cases. The most evil ones, that appear unreachable, I try to pray for. In worst cases, such as when they attempt violence, then we must respond with violence to defend ourselves. But not in joy, but rather in pity.

HST, my experience has been that ex-LIEberals, now Conservative, have either been mugged by a real mugger or mugged by Reality.
During the final months of the recent Presidential campaign, I began to refer the Ms. Clinton as “Hitlery, the venomous harridan.” Mirriam-Webster defines “venomous” as “expressing very strong hatred or anger” and “harridan” as “an angry and unpleasant woman : shrew.”
As the campaign wore on, it occurred to me that Tim Kaine, Chuckie Schumer, Bernie Sanders (and other males of the Democrat persuasion) were the male equivalents of a venomous harridan. I knew of no word in the English language for the male equivalent of a harridan.
Then, I asked my FReeper FRiends for a suggestion of a word we could use to describe the male equivalent of a venomous harridan. The consensus was that “asshole” was a perfect term to use when describing male Democrats of the Schumer, Kaine, Sanders wing of the Democrat Party.
Lo and behold, Mirriam-Webster’s definition is perfect: “a stupid, annoying, or detestable person!”

I have known for many years such a “Southern con artist’ who is so much physically and vocally like Bill Clinton that it gave me chills and also a better understanding of Clinton. Claud’s politics have always been pretty much the politics of the people he wanted something from and he could be eloquent from either side of the divide. He had an easy time with women. He could knife you in the back and the next day greet you like an old friend. He is 6 feet 2 and had Bill C’s hair and is the same age as BC (and me)He has no hair now and is sill the shape Bill had pre-emaciation. Either man could sell the proverbial freezers to Inuits at twice normal price. Both still have odd women hanging around. Bill always sold politics. Claud sold jewelry at big fairs and expositions.
I feel bad about Jimmy Kimmel, I used to like him. He got his start on Ben Stein’s quite amusing TV quiz show.
But he has just become a complete tool.
Very sad. I do hope his son will recover and be well and grow up to have a brain and think RIGHT thoughts.
Remember that show well. Between Ben and Jimmy, they had a collective IQ of about 150. Sad to say, it looks like Ben's alone was 180.
