The point is that Rush has nailed it.
Trump gets what’s going on, but has no team in place who gets it, or who can level the playing field. I believe the TV team representing the West Wing is woefully cut out of the loop, maybe by Trump himself, who is battling against leaks and active on the fly. Who can keep up?
My theory is that if White House spokesmen don’t know what is going on, as in the case of Sarah Sanders yesterday, or they have no access to TRUMP and his actions and they have no background to his actions, then they should refuse to be sent out there on all the talk shows to demonstrate their total ignorance on a news breaking subject.
It looks bad. It makes the White House look bad and hurts the president.
Either come to these media rounds and news night appearances with something to say, or else issue briefest of statements until which time you know what the hell is going on and can get an act together that delivers a reasonably polished narrative.
Otherwise, SHUT UP, until you’re prepared.
