Minimum wage does not destroy jobs. It shifts labor around. Tell me if a business that employs a lot of low wage low skilled workers decides "well that's it I'm closing down" then what happens to that businesses customers? Where do they go? Does the work not get done? Do their customers go back to cleaning their own houses, cars, and mow their own lawns?
What people should be saying is raising minimum wage causes inflation. That is a legitimate argument to make.

Restaurants close and so do businesses that you have no care for.

No, you have cause and effect reversed. Price increases for labor or anything else RESULT FROM inflation, they do not cause inflation.
