It was NOT Comeys job to decide what a prosecutor should or shouldn’t do with the info they gathered.
The not-so-subtext is that Comey broke the rules and went outside accepted procedures. Hmm...
So he was fired for what he did last summer. This also points a finger at Lynch and Obama, which could get interesting.
Many here on FR thought it wasn’t his place to make the decision not to prosecute. It turns out that’s correct and the press should have made a stink about it, but they didn’t.
I want everyone to note that the Deputy AG’s memorandum is one page, just one concise well-written page.
