Sad to say that we may still be on the hook for the costs as he started the whole trip to fruitopia when he was still in the Army. He shouldn’t be able to collect one dime but the regs on this may require it.
Didn't he forfeit all pay and benefits as a result of his conviction? Wouldn't that include VA benefits?
