Yes, that's another reason why I quoted The Young British Soldier from Kipling. It was written more than 120 years ago and it's prescient today. Read a young Subaltern Winston Churchills account of the Malakand Field Force of his fighting on the Indian Northwest Frontier against the Afghanis. He talks again and again about how savage the Mohammedans are. Not much has changed....

Exactly! What happened in Lebanon in the 1980s when some of their diplomats were kidnapped with one getting murdered is the perfect example.

I agree but why are they still there?
I would assume that Pres. Trump has cut off soetoro's supply line. They can only be getting stuff from the gulf through Turkey.
They have no air force or navy, limited armor and artillery.
Supposedly there has only been about 30,000 and I would guess that many have been killed.

Really bad idea. Russians take this very personally, and will immediately launch a murderous revenge retaliation. And it will be done in such a way as to leave a lasting impact on the offenders. That is, not a generic revenge, but one that will leave them shaking in their boots.
Expect it in the next few weeks, and it will be a nasty.
