Just finished watching it and I was enthralled. Amazing stuff and certainly amazing engineering. I highly recommend it for everyone’s viewing. Sure glad I happened to see the advertising for it as I never would have known. We miss so much watching the rest of the junk on TV....
A series titled "My Mother and Other Strangers" is scheduled to air on PBS in my neck of the woods on June 18th. It's a drama series set in 1943 following the Coyne family and their neighbors as they struggle to maintain a normal life after a US Army Air Force base is set up in the middle of their rural parish. I downloaded it, but haven't watched it yet, and will probably just wait until it airs on PBS.
Also, have you ever watched any of the "Endeavour" detective series? It's the prequel to the long-running Inspector Morse series. The fourth season will begin airing on PBS here on August 20th. And finally, another program titled "Dark Angel" will be airing on PBS here on May 21st. It's a true-crime drama that aired in the UK last fall. It aired as a two-parter on UK TV, but I believe it will be shown in its entirety on PBS Masterpiece. It stars Joanne Froggatt (from Downton Abbey) as protagonist Mary Ann Cotton, widely regarded as Britain's first female serial killer, who was found guilty of murder in March 1873 for the murder of three of her husbands, allegedly in order to collect on their insurance policies.
I'm not sure how much your PBS viewing schedule differs from mine here in Central NY, but you should be able to check the PBS website for your viewing area to see if any of these are forthcoming. I'm assuming that since it's PBS, they will eventually show up where you are.
