Universities are not “schools” under federal law.
In Georgia, under the new law, only a few places are prohibited on Campus. If your out of state permit is from on e of the 34 states recognized by Georgia, you fall under the same rules as someone with a Georgia permit.
First offense for Campus carry, under the new law, is a $25 fine, with no jail time.

Only a few places prohibited? Classrooms if a high school student is in there on dual enrollment, sporting events, frat and sorority houses, campus preschools, disciplinary hearings, and faculty and administrative offices. What does that leave? You can walk across campus, and make a few stops but likely would have to leave your weapon in your vehicle if you are in class that day or have any business in any office. Worthless sham.
