- Chicago police issued a bulletin Monday warning its officers about gangs armed with high-powered weapons, after three people were shot to death over the weekend - including two attending a memorial for the earlier victim.
Department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the three people who were killed in the shootings Sunday were all members of the same street gang.
A shooting early in the day left one man dead, and the two others were killed and eight people were injured in a spray of more than two dozen shots from two guns while attending a makeshift memorial for him. Police suspect they were all shot by members of a rival street gang in the same neighborhood on Chicago's southwest side.

There are zero federal gun prosecutions of gang-bangers in Chicago. The killers plea-bargain down to aggravated assault, sentenced to 1-2 years in the joint, and are back out on the streets in 9 months from time served and/or “good behavior.” Some of them even are allowed to do ankle-monitoring.
A buncha s-heads gather where another s-head got shot, they bring 45s, mostly of the malt likker variety, and scream insults to the s-heads who shot the s-heads until they feel dissed enuff for an encore.
Actually I don’t think killings will ever go down in Chicago while it is profitable. Once it was learned that dead baby parts were profitable by abortionist organizations, the juvenile - adult organ suppliers found a ready and profitable supply and market in Chicago. Seven organs can generally be used from a victim that has been gunned down. If Chicago can keep the gun victim total above 1,000 a year then up to 7,000 organs can be harvested and marketed. Keep in mind that Chicago has been ruled by Progressives and they probably have organized and commercialized the process. Wouldn’t doubt that other major Progressive cities haven’t followed suit.
