Local stuff can get you in trouble pretty quick unless you know EVERY rule, reg and requirement. To me, that’s why I think the 2nd should take precedence over all this crap as intended.

Yup. If you can’t be trusted with a firearm in public, you shouldn’t be trusted to be free to be walking around in public at all.
But those regs I posted are all state-level, and TX has preemption so no city or anything will be different.
