Sounds like a good start, but it should go a little further and allow a driver whose vehicle is kicked, punched, or otherwise damaged by any protester to retaliate by any means that they deem necessary to stop further damage or protect themselves from possible injury when their car is surrounded and protesters are jumping on the car or otherwise threatening the occupants.
That’s already allowed.
If you believe you are in reasonable fear for your life, you can drive and run them over. Go to the nearest police station to report the accident.
This is just extra legal protection for the driver.
It’s also a federal crime to block a federal interstate. They should pursue those charges and it’d stop this bs.
