Why this investigation? Where are the Justice Department investigations into 1) ANTIFAS, 2) Muslim "No Go" Terrorist training enclaves in the USA, 3) Soros funding anti-government violence, 4) Muslim immigration, 5) Open borders under Obama and liberal democrats, 6) Black Lives Matters and other domestic terror groups 8) Liberal media inciting violence against police, etc. I can think of other more critical investigations Secretary Sessions should start. How are the Justice Department Investigations decided? Will this Justice Department under Mr. Sessions investigate, arrest and try the many dangerous internal enemies of the USA already established here, nourished by treasonous liberal democrats? How can we encourage President Trump and Secretary Sessions to address these and other national cancers? Thoughts?

Why is it illegal to use software to avoid law enforcement locations? They sure hate Uber, don’t they? Anything cool that people like will get attacked by our control freak government.

Any word of investigations on Hillarys bribery? On Obamas illegal surveillance of Trump? Or turning the IRS on political opponents?

Why not investigate? Surely there are enough agents to do this and still investigate Hillary, the Clinton Foundation, Lois Lerner....

You’re right on with that post.
Of all the the criminal corruption and violent threats out there and they choose this?
Oh wait...this is safe to do and they won’t likely get harmed doing it.
The others you list, could be rather risky to the investigator(s) and we sure wouldn’t want that, now would we?

I seem to remember Trump running on opposing the idiotic regulations that hurt jobs and business. Now his Justice Dept goes after a fast moving innovative firm that people love the product, so they can protect buggy whip taxicabs and liberal cities that want to grab cash from a new idea.

Not huge, but it is dumping a gallon of water back INTO the swamp.

Did you even read the article? Uber has to get approval from the locals to operate on their streets. They weren’t. The locals investigated and tried to catch them in the act. Uber then actively sought to thwart the investigations. Obstruction of justice is what its called.

Are you lost?

“Uber has to get approval from the locals to operate on their streets.”

Another way to think of that would be that someone came up with a new way to provide transportation services, which the folks of Portland liked and were willing to pay for.

At this point, the Sheriff of Nottingham shows up and says, “Prince John wants a share of the money you’ve earned.”

Uber asks, “Why?”

Sheriff says, “This is PJ’s town. He gets a cut of everything.”

Uber says, “FUPJ.”

Now, I know all the arguments that justify taxation. However, when it gets to the point that we’d be better off working for Al Capone, taxes, in my view, become immoral and the government a pack of corrupt thieves.

The thing about Uber is that now the left hates them because the CEO is supposedly sexist and talks down to his employees. So the lefties all use Lyft now. Lyft was the red-haired child until the Uber CEO got into hot water. Now Lyft is the king, and Uber is so yesterday.

Why this investigation? Where are the Justice Department investigations

The Department of Justice has, below the Attorney General, 40-odd presidentially-appointed offices (there are Assistant Attorneys General in charge of the Civil, Criminal, Tax, Antitrust and other divisions; there are the heads of BATF, U.S. Marshal's Service, Bureau of Prisons, etc.). Other than Sessions, Trump has not even nominated anyone to most of these offices (much less gotten them confirmed). Trump fired all 93 U.S. Attorneys, but hasn't nominated any replacements for them yet. Which means that, except for whatever tasks Sessions can do personally, the entire U.S. Department of Justice is being run either by Obama holdovers or career civil servants. I am sure Sessions didn't even know about this investigation until he saw it in the newspaper.
