A Delta Air Lines employee allegedly slapped a phone out of a 13-year-old boy's hand, as he filmed people's reaction to flight delay announcements.
Matthew Boggan, from New York, claims the worker was five feet away from him when she "grabbed" the phone and "hit it really hard" before it fell from his right hand.
His family claim that Matthew got his phone out and began to record passengers' reactions to the announcement that the flight would be delayed, when the phone was hit out of his hand.
The teenager said he was luckily able to catch the phone with his other hand when it was knocked out of his grasp.(snip)
Matthew's flight was reportedly delayed several times due to weather conditions.
It was scheduled to take off at 6.50pm and ended up departing at 2.30pm the next day, and the family received repeated text messages alerting them to the delays.
They claim they were forced to sleep on the floor near the gate while waiting.

You can travel by freighter in their passenger cabins.
No, it’s potato video.
“Matthew Boggan, from New York, claims the worker was five feet away from him when she grabbed the phone and hit it really hard”.
She must have some long arms /s
Especially since they weren't even on the plane.
The video does not appear to be inside a plane.
If I chose to wait for the lawyers
When I was a junior in HS I got the opportunity to spend the summer as a passenger on a Danish freighter. There was nothing to do while at sea, so I spent my days working with the crew (mostly painting the decks and drinking Tuborg beer) and playing bridge at night with them (and drinking more Tuborg beer). After a few weeks one crew-member had to leave to return to Denmark so the captain gave me his job... so I kept doing what I was doing except I was now making lots of money doing it. Great way to travel!
Since it happened nearly a year ago, it seems the family wasn’t too concerned about it.
If you don’t have a life get a cell phone most people would die if they didn’t have batteries any more.
