What would you estimate as the dollar cost to purchase the same TV exposure received free for one televised primary debate?
In the millions of dollars for sure.
And could you even place a number on the value to a candidate of the public exposure received via a televised debate?
Then multiply all that by the total number of televised republican primary debates (I think it was 12).
So imagine if the republicans had 12 televised primary debates and the democrats had none because they only had one candidate.
The DNC couldn't let republicans have all that free TV time and exposure while their candidate had none.
So Hillary had to have at least one challenger to justify televised debates giving her equivalent air time and public exposure.
But the democrats didn't expect a sorry candidate like Bernie to really give her a fight and almost run off with the trophy!
And wasn't her weakness in the rigged primary an early indicator of the general lack of enthusiasm for her?
But democrats were too busy planning her coronation to even consider the possiblity that she could lose the general election.
Well, the “official” dnc party leaders ARE extreme socialists, but they didn’t want people to recognize that fact, nor did they want people (outside of the privacy of their DC offices!) to publicize and cheer that extremist socialist-communist fact.
But Bernie recognized the communism-socialist side of the youth in the universities, spoke to those communists-socialists-racists, and THEY responded far out of proportion to what Hillary’s campaign “wanted” ... After only a few speeches, Bernie was no longer a “token” resistance “See, I am not a socialist - “I” am running AGAINST the socialist!” news quote.
