Political commentator Tomi Lahren is officially parting ways with The Blaze.
The Dallas Morning News reports that Lahren and The Blaze have settled Lahrens lawsuit, with most of the settlement details remaining confidential.
TheBlaze is pleased to announce that the relationship with Tomi Lahren has concluded, a spokesperson for The Blaze said in an emailed statement. Ms. Lahren will continue to have access to her social media accounts as has always been the case.
Lahren will now be free to seek employment with a rival network and will retain control of her Facebook account, which boasts more than four million followers.
The Blaze took Lahren off air after an appearance on The View where called pro-life conservatives hypocrites, seemingly contradicting her previous positions on abortion.
Sources with direct knowledge of the situation previously told TheDC that Lahrens comments on The View were the final straw in her rocky relationship with higher-ups at The Blaze and that she had virtually no chance of returning to the conservative media company after her contract ended in September.
Lahren filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against The Blaze and its founder, conservative radio host Glenn Beck, after being taken off-air, alleging that she was fired on account of her pro-choice views, prompting Beck and The Blaze to file a countersuit against her, which revealed that Lahren was still on The Blazes payroll, even as she remained off-air. The settlement brings both lawsuits to a conclusion.
Lahren often clashed with her former coworkers at The Blaze and would yell and scream at lower-level employees, sources with direct knowledge previously told TheDC. Among other things, the 24-year-old staffer forced employees to heat up a butt warming pad in the microwave before every show, those sources said.
Who?
What is this “The Blaze”?
Glen Beck gave her one of his suits? Did she get the special underwear too? The judge should have ruled they have to get married to each other.
Problem child, it is only beginning.
Butt warming pad?
Where will she land next?
Problem child or not, she speaks to millennials in a way other personalities can’t.
Maybe her butt isn’t as hot as she’d like it to be. :)
Does she actually speak to Millennials, or does she just convince Baby Boomer that she does?
so she wanted a butt warmer...whats wrong with that,i ask you?....
Wherever she can continue to get paid being the phony problem child that she is. I have never seen her perform, never will.
Our long national nightmare is over. Is there any way that Lahren and The Blaze both lost? Each sucks equally.
O’Really and Toomuchme will pair up...
Agreed. A young MeAgain Kelley.
She doesn’t understand that she has a duty to marry a young strong warrior male and cater to his every wishes. And she needs to give birth to his healthy baby males so that they also may grow to be strong brave warriors. That is her destiny, nothing more.
When Sean Hannity opened his show last night, I think he said that Tomi would be one of his guests. Maybe Fox is in her future; it sounds like they may deserve each other.
I’ve seen a few of her YouTube videos around election time and she was pretty good. It seems that she is on a wavelength that millennials might connect with.
The pro-abortion thing is disturbing. Americans’ love affair with killing babies will never end until their hearts change. Their hearts won’t change until America reverts to its Judeo-Christian principles. America won’t revert to its Judeo-Christian principles until true religious freedom and free speech are embedded in our everyday lives again. I’m hopeful that DJT’s presidency might start us moving back in that direction. Ending the Johnson Amendment as he promised would be a good place to start.
It’ll be a long haul, but if we go down the right path there may be a time when abortions are recognized as the sin they are.
Chick fight. Who is the bigger b&tch? Beck or the bland/
I would hope not. Anyone who is not intelligent enough to see the difference between a liver and a baby in the womb should not have a platform. o wait, the entire democrat party does. That’s where she belongs.
From what I’ve heard, Lahren originally was with OANN, One American News Network... so, are their other millenials like this as well? It does seem their news people do just regurgitate what they are told but perhaps don’t believe in what they say.
So, this is a trap with OANN, fine news, I watch it too but their newscasters like on that ‘tipping point’ show, may not actually think the way they broadcast.
Good for Glenn and the Blaze though, to stick up for pro-life values in this case.
