I once knew a close friend of black comedian/activist Dick Gregory who dressed and looked (big-assed Afro) like a black woman did in the late 1960’s. She was Jewish and actually a nice, somewhat rational person but her support of Gregory’s quest for a “Black House” in place of the “White House” was ludicrous.
Some people have identity crises which are real (yes it’s all in their head but their life is guided by how they perceive themselves and others. Nothing is going to change it. Hopefully they are just harmless anomalies.
As we learn more about the human brain/mind, we might one day understand how this “Trans-identity” situation is caused. Then the real hard question, for some, is do they want to change it, or to remain as they are.
Rachel Dolezal lives in a very complicated and possibly unrealistic world. I, for one, would not pay her rantings any attention because they are not logical, but then, I’m not her and never want to be.
As the old philosopher once said, “Everyone is crazy except you and me, and I’m not sure about you”.

Yeah, as soon as I could tell it was someone speaking in college speak like they were writing a thesis or something, I knew to cut it short and not waste any more time.
Why can’t these people just write like people talk? Normally and simply. Speaking like that impresses no one and loses far more readers than it gains. They will never learn though. The same people seem to think having a couple or three letters after their name implies they are intelligent when it does no such thing. It merely indicates the person took the time to study a certain subject and passed some tests. Whoopee.
See, rather than talk about the subject, here I am talking about how the author lost another reader. Bad writing.
If any of this makes any sense at all, I will self-identify as a billionaire.
Actually, this is what government-subsidized people with too much time on their hands look like.
Excellent observation.
They used to be called white [racial epithets]. Now they’re “transracial”.
The article does provoke two questions, though:
Why does the author get paid for this drivel?
Why does Rebecca Tuvel have a job as an “associate professor” anyplace, other than to demonstrate what a total waste of time the modern academy is?
“trans” in a political context can be safely translated to “unconvincingly fake”

Is there a way for someone to sponsor a rock?
Blue on blue violence. The resistance (revolution) will eat its own.
Witch is gender neutral.
Calling someone a warlock is an insult.
But your point is taken.
