Batch Springs is in Dallas County and that leaves the murder charge question up to the Dallas County DA, the indictment up to a Dallas County grand jury, conviction up to a Dallas County jury.

Since he has been fired as a police officer, the Grand Jury need not respect that he is currently a police officer. That would have been in the officer's favor before a Grand Jury.

The video needs to be kept secret while the DA and Grand Jury investigate.
