This bill not only doesn’t fund it, but also bans its construction - so it’s not even possible to juggle funds to make it happen. Even if Mexico said “we’ll pay for it”, this bill would ban that.
A future congress can do whatever it wants. But as it stands, this is a serious step backwards.

Clarification is needed desperately. If it prevents construction until the next budget (Sept.), that’s another story.

I thought these funds were still part of the FY 2017 funding? I am not pleased with anything this idiot Ryan does or is a party to. Ryan is a young punk IMHO who has never had a real job period.
