The benefit of stepped-up enforcement and whatever repairs we make to the existing fences will a drop in illegal activity. I will wait for the statistics on mexican drugs, California welfare payments and other indicators rather than obsess over politics. There will eventually be some wall and Mexico will pay for some as well. I certainly did not expect it by now. I will expect some progress by a year from now.
