While it's commonly known by now that the new spending bill that Congress and the Trump administration agreed to funds mostly Democratic priorities, and doesn't fund President Trump's border wall, what's not widely known is that the new legislation goes even farther than this. Not only does it not fund the border wall, but it prevents the government from constructing a border wall with any funds.

Can Trump simply sign it but attach a signing statement striking down the undesirable parts?
Its sad how much this site is becoming a bastion of ignorant, misleading NeverTrump propaganda, which serves no purpose at all except to help the left. One of the reasons the conservatives get nothing done is that there is no loyalty or trust on our side. We turn on our own as quickly as possible. Trump is the best thing thats happened to us since the 1980s; yet many conservatives use any piece of B.S. propaganda as an excuse to attack Trump.

No. Signing statements don't strike sections, they say "will be interpreted ..." and then any deviation is generally stealthy.
That is the definition of line item veto, so no. There have been periodic attempts under various Presidents including Reagan, but this was ruled unconstitutional during the Clinton administration.
