I am sure as a police officer they will water it down but end of day, the cop killed a non-threatening, unarmed kid. With time to figure out a well-worded defense, he’ll either say the videos do not tell the whole story or he’ll say the gun accidentally discharged. I am bothered the cop is given time before being questioned. Smells of coverup, protecting themselves. No commoner would be allowed to go home, sleep on it, we’ll ask you tomorrow why you pulled the trigger.

” No commoner would be allowed to go home, sleep on it, we’ll ask you tomorrow why you pulled the trigger.”

For everyone else, they are in a room, under the lights, sleep deprived and lawyer deprived.

Sometimes it seems like being in a car is regarded as threatening to police sufficient for deadly force to be used.

The cops will always protect themselves in situations like this or they will at least make a good attempt. As soon as they find there are inconsistent statements on their part, which are not supported by evidence, they immediately go into a bunker mentality.
